Never stop giving PRN Endosorb Antidiarrheal Supplemental Tablets suddenly unless your veterinarian instructs you to. Always speak to your veterinarian if you have questions about how to give this medication. How does this medication work? This medication is formulated with an improved attapulgite that adsorbs toxins and toxic materials present in the gut of animals with symptoms of diarrhea. The adsorbent action helps to relieve the irritation discomfort and cramping associated with diarrhea. If the diarrhea is caused by, or associated with a bacterial intestinal infection, then appropriate antibiotic therapy should be started as soon as possible. What results can I expect? Dose and Administration: Dogs 5-25 lbs of body weight, 1 tablet every 4 hours. Dogs 26-50 lbs of body weight, 2 tablets every 4 hours or as directed by a veterinarian. Possible Side Effects: Constipation, bloat, and sedation are the most likely adverse reactions encountered when usual doses are used. Potentially, paralytic ileus, toxic megacolon, pancreatitis, and CNS effects could be seen. Other side effects are possible.
